The Veil

The Veil is the space between worlds. If Ley Lines are equivalent to capillaries, then the The Veil is the muscle and fat within which those capillaries exist. It has at least 5 layers within it, each accessible only through Ley Line transversal or some other specialized means; one cannot physically translate between layers via flying or falling. In layers at and above The Silver Sea, the only visible illumination is a pale sun which sits just below the horizon at all times, emitting a harsh, silver light.

The Brimstone Sea

The lowest layer within The Veil is The Brimstone Sea, the alleged location of every hell, punitive plane and negative Divine Realm within the multiverse. It is exceedingly difficult to access, even by Veilstrider standards, and as a result, is typically only visited by Gods, the damned or exceptionally powerful spellcasters of the divine variety.

The Silver Sea

In most circumstances, The Silver Sea is the layer of the
